우리 아가는 놀이터에서 노는것을 매우 좋아한다. 아마도 대부분의 아이가 그러하겠지만 ... 

요즘같은 여름철에는 강렬한 햇볕이나 비오는날이 많아서 놀이터에서 놀게 하기가 다소 난감하다. 

역시나 오늘도 놀이터를 그냥 지나치쟈 칭얼거리는 아기... 

상황극을 만들어 보자. 

 

My daughter loves playing at the playground. I suppose most children do...

However, during the summer, it's often difficult to let her play outside because of the intense sunlight or rainy days.

And today, as we walked past the playground, she started whining again...

Let's create a scenario.

 

나 : 나는 한국에 사는 20개월 딸을 키우고 있는 엄마야. 아기는 아직 어리지만 놀이터를 매우 좋아해. 심지어 비오는날도 놀이터에서 놀고 싶어해. 어린이집이 끝나고 항상 놀이터에서 노는게 버릇이 되서인지 비오는 오늘도 놀고싶다고 떼를써, 지금은 잠시 비가 그쳤지만 놀이터는 빗물이 있어서 미끌미끌해. 아기가 하도 떼를 떠서 놀이터에서 놀게 했지만 역시나 미끄럼틀에서 미끄러져서 얼굴을 부딪혔어. 아가는 큰소리로 울고 겨우 과자를 준다고 하면서 달래서 들어왔어. 이 상황을 아가 영어 교육용으로 만들어줘

 

Mom: "Hi sweetie! How was daycare today?"

Daughter: "Playground, mommy! Playground!"

Mom: "Oh, you want to go to the playground? But it's raining today."

Daughter: (whining) "Playground, playground!"

Mom: "Hmm, let's see. The rain has stopped, but the playground is still wet and slippery. We have to be very careful, okay?"

Daughter: (nodding eagerly) "Play!"

Scene: At the Playground

Mom: "Alright, we’re at the playground. Remember, it's slippery, so be careful."

Daughter: (runs to the slide)

Mom: "Slow down, sweetie! It's wet."

Daughter: (climbs the slide but slips and falls)

Daughter: (crying loudly)

Mom: "Oh no! Come here, let me see. Are you okay?"

Daughter: (crying)

Mom: "It's okay, mommy's here. How about we go home and have some yummy snacks? Would you like that?"

Daughter: (sniffles and nods) "Snack."

Scene: Back at Home

Mom: "Here you go, sweetie. Some yummy snacks. Feel better?"

Daughter: (eating snacks, calms down) "Better."

Mom: "I'm glad you're feeling better. Remember, we need to be careful when it's wet outside. I love you, sweetie."

Daughter: "Love you, mommy."
